Role overview

The HBAR Foundation is growing quickly! We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help organize and coordinate our recruiting efforts. You’ll be working within the People Operations team, building our recruitment process with the Head of People & Culture.


This role is open to anyone between UTC -7 to UTC -3 time zones. The salary range is $60,000-75,000.

What you’ll be doing (i.e. job duties):

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs & determine selection criteria
  • Execute on the hiring plan and ensure positions remain aligned to the hiring budget
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and stages of interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our ATS, Greenhouse
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends
  • Documenting recruiting and hiring process in our online, documentation center


What we look for in you (i.e. job requirements):

  • Previous recruiting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Teachability and the desire to grow
  • Hyper-organized
  • Team player, with fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Experience working remotely, primarily using asynchronous communication
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Ability to coordinate with candidates, interviewers, recruiters, and external individuals in a proactive and timely manner
  • Experience using Greenhouse, Google Suite, and HR systems
