Role overview

The HBAR Foundation is looking for a Marketing Manager to develop, create, and distribute content around the HBAR Foundation’s Crypto Economy, Metaverse, Sustainable Impact, and Fintech Funds

Marketing Managers will focus on supporting specific funds based on their experience and interest. Candidates should have a strong background in cryptocurrency, distributed ledger technology, or an industry like fintech, sustainability, and gaming. 

Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:

  • Develop “product marketing content” in partnership with the fund teams focused on telling stories of application building in the Hedera ecosystem.
  • Work closely with the CMO, content, and PR teams to create content and distribute across different channels.
  • Drive new opportunities for funding and investment for a specific fund.
  • Develop educational content custom to the fund’s industry or use case focus.
  • Design creative experiences on how to promote projects in the Hedera ecosystem.
  • Act as a public face for the HBAR Foundation at events.
  • Plan and attend events specific to funds and grantees, as well as coordinate with partners to establish HBAR Foundation presence at their events

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years in experience in a marketing role with experience or familiarity with cryptocurrency or distributed ledger technology.
  • Comfort speaking, tweeting, writing, and teaching complex technical topics.
  • A strong understanding of DLT/Blockchain.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to identify, pursue and close commercially complex partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in driving alignment from key internal stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
