The Digital Euro Association (DEA) is excited to announce a new partnership with The HBAR Foundation, the Hedera network ecosystem force multiplier, which is at the forefront of advancing scalable, secure, and sustainable decentralized ledger technology (DLT). The HBAR Foundation facilitates the development of the Hedera ecosystem, supporting projects that leverage Hedera's unique hashgraph technology to drive high-performance applications.

This partnership represents a significant alignment in the pursuit of innovation within the digital currency landscape. The HBAR Foundation's commitment to fostering a sustainable and innovative digital future complements DEA's mission of enhancing the understanding, adoption, and development of stablecoin and central bank digital currency (CBDC) initiatives.

"We are delighted to partner with The HBAR Foundation, whose efforts in nurturing digital money ecosystems resonate with our vision for the future of money. This collaboration underscores our dedication to exploring and advocating for technologies that ensure the digital currency ecosystem is secure, efficient, and advances the public good," said Dr. Jonas Gross, Chairman of the Digital Euro Association.

"Joining the Digital Euro Association aligns with our commitment to fostering a sustainable and innovative digital future. As the lowest carbon footprint decentralized ledger technology, which is also fast and enables transactions to happen at a fraction of a cent, Hedera is uniquely positioned to contribute to the growth of the digital currency ecosystem. We're eager to collaborate with the DEA and contribute to the advancement of digital currencies," said Shayne Higdon, CEO of the HBAR Foundation.
